Police seize weapons and ammunition in Malisheva

Police have found and confiscated several weapons after a search at two locations in the Malisheva municipality.

“The police station in Malisheva, following receiving information on the use of a firearm, has provided warrants for control by the Court, which was implemented by the date of 05.04.24 at two different locations, at the settlements of two suspects (Kosovon, senior age) in the village of Turjaca in Malisheva”, police report.

During the search on their possession, they were found and confiscated:

Two long firearms,

Two short firearms, the kind of pistol,

A short firearm for voice signaling, kind of revolver,

A short firearm for voice signaling,

A short firearm.

Fifty-two rounds of bullets and

Four mags.

After interviewing suspects, the same state prosecutor's decision has been stopped in maintenance, and the case “ownership, non-authorized possession of weapons” and “use of the weapon or dangerous tool” has been initiated.
