Poet Lindita Ahmeti Changes Lives

Lindita Ahmeti has passed away at 50. The sad news was confirmed by her father, writer Jabir Ahmeti, on Facebook, in the early hours of the morning on April 9th.

Horrible playback. We lost our wonderful daughter Lindy's half hour ago, Ahmeti wrote in the early hours of April 9th morning.

After finishing high school in Skopje, she continued her studies at the Faculty of Philology at the University of Skopje, where she specialised in classical philology. With an intense passion for literature, she legalized ancient literature at Tetovo University and worked at the Albanian Institute of Spiritual and Cultural Heritage.
