PDK parliamentary group chief Abelard Tahiri over the latest survey conducted by “U n BO Consulting”, where this party is ranked second, until the VV in the first place, has said elections determine the fate of a government.
At today's media conference, PDK parliamentary group chief again called on Prime Minister Kurti and his government to respond positively to the PDK's invitation and elections be held on June 9th.
“Polls are polls, but elections are what determine the fate of a government. We call on both Prime Minister Kurti and the LVV government not to fear and respond positively to the PDK's invitation as we requested on June 9th to organise early elections in the Republic of Kosovo”, Tahiri said.
MP Tahiri said elections are necessary for the country's removal of sanctions and that with Prime Minister Bedri Hamza, he said the PDK considers it fair for the country to go to the polls on June 9th.
According to him, the government under the direction of Bedri Hamza will remove sanctions imposed by the European Union.
“The elections are needed to extract the country from sanctions and crises. We have no doubt that the mandater who will form Kosovo's new government will be Bedri Hamza from the PDK. We consider our decision to go to the elections on June 9th is the fair decision and the decision leading to the creation of a new government, and that led by Bedri Hamza will lift the country from sanctions imposed by the European Union”, Tahiri said at the conference before reporters.
