Initially it was the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo that released the hall in protest of the absence of Prime Minister Kurti and his ministers, for meeting with parliamentary questions, and then the deputies of the Democratic League of Kosovo, launched the hall.
The most completed agenda of parliamentary questions, has been Parliament Speaker Saranda Boguyevci, who has ordered the work of the Assembly House.
AAK parliamentary group chief Besnik Tahiri said the government is not accountable to the Assembly, as he said, the prime minister and some ministers are not present, though they have been on the agenda.
This is a masquerade. A minister is here, what we do here. That's totally government ignoring the institution of the assembly. We shouldn't be here, we should abort this session. The prime minister is on the agenda, where there are 11 other ministers. The AAK lets the hall down, we don't stay, and let it be known that the government doesn't answer to this congregation”
Kosovo Assembly MP from the LDK ranks Avdullah Hoti has sharply criticised the absence of Albin Kurti and ministers at the plenary session.
In the name of the Parliamentary Group, has spoken Avdullah Hoti said that what's going on has no meaning.
I have the questions I have been asking since February 2024, which means two months. It's about 200m euros for public companies. It makes no sense that the prime minister and the ministers should be warned... this is a small masquerade. This has nothing to do with parliamentary practices”, Hoti has said among other things.
