Bujar Osmani, who was the presidential candidate in northern Macedonia who defeated the other Albanian candidate, Arben Tarivar, by contrasting nearly 400,000 votes, has spoken of the support his opponent received from Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti.
In an interview for the “Real Story” on ABC News, he spoke of the intervention of his Government's Kurt in presidential elections there.
“I hope Pristina's intervention has been the result of non-recognition of political dynamics”, Osmani said.
He has also mentioned “divisions” among Albanians who may have caused the Kosovo prime minister's commitment in neighbouring state elections.
“We are guardians of harmony. Their divisions have weakened them. I remember that the main message that should be... I don't think Albanians should dominate Macedonia, but we invite them to be side by side of the European Front.”
Osman finally had a message about Kurt, who he said from now on should know what course to hold in the future.
“I guess they weren't aware of the indirect consequences of this political calculations and the message they were given yesterday will let them know what course they should have in the future.”, Osamni said.
