Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has hosted France's ambassador to Kosovo Olivier Guerot on Thursday.
According to a report by the presidency, after Kosovo's pro-member vote with more than two-thirds of MPs at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, developments and expectations before the assembly of the Committee of Ministers was discussed at the meeting.
Among other things, President Osmani and Ambassador Guérot also discussed holding citizens hostage, as well as arresting Kosovo police on the part of Serbia in border areas”, the report said.
“President Osmani points out clearly who is behind this and where to look for responsibility. Moreover, it pointed out that nonhuman treatment and the blocking of the free movement of citizens constitutes serious human rights violations. It has also suggested that these developments create a heavy atmosphere and fear among citizens”.
Guerot also praised Osman for the successful organisation and prosperity of the second edition of the Forum for Women, Peace and Security.
