Osmani: NATO, KFOR have high credibility by Kosovo citizens

President Vjosa Osmani has hosted the outgoing director of NATO's advisory and liaison team (NALT), Brigadier General Ralph Peter Hammerstein, and future NALT director, Brigadier General Christian Nawrat, accompanied by Chief of the Current Operations Sector from NATO Headquarters, Mrs. Ariel Viehe.
During the meeting, Osman thanked and expressed deep gratitude for the one-year co-operation and service of General Hammerstein, longing for success in future responsibility and the previous military career.
Also, the incoming director, General Nawrat, wished for success, believing that in his mandate according to his tradition, the level of bilateral co-operation would continue under respective mandates.
Osmani at this meeting reiterated commitment to maximize Kosovo co-operation opportunities - NATO for development and further advance of the KSF with NATO's highest standards, ready and interoperable with NATO's Allied and partner forces on joint missions, along with our strategic state goal towards full NATO membership.
The meeting also discussed the current security situation in the country, where President Osmani stressed among other things that NATO and KFOR have high credibility from Kosovo citizens in the peace and security mission in our country.
