Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has remembered the massacre of Studenica and Lastica, where Serb forces 25 years ago, with the aim of extermination and ethnic cleansing, killed women, elders and children.
“25 years ago, forces of Serbia's genocide regime, in one of their own bids to the extermination of Albanians and ethnic cleansing massacred 6 seniors and 4 minor girls aged 12-15, of the Lipaj Zeqiray families in Istog Research.
The barbaria of the criminal regime did not recognise age, so justice is necessary and we will never stop looking for it”, Osmani said.
The same day, according to her, on April 13th 1999 “Serbia's killer machine in Lyshtica in Gjilani, shot and later burned 13 Albanians, including the noble Shaban, 2-year-old”.
Their justice is our never-ending commitment. May the memory of all fall for freedom forever!”, President Osmani said.
