In memory of the 25th anniversary of the Lybeniki Massacre in Pec, where 79 civilians were killed, Osmani said the tendency for the extermination of the Albanian people did not spare Muhammad 18 months and Leonard, 7, killed by Serb military and police forces.
“25 years ago, Serbia's genocide regime, as in many parts of Kosovo, testified to its barbaria, killing 79 civilians in the village of Lybenic. Tents for the extermination of the Albanian people did not spare Muhammad 18 months and Leonard, age 7. It is our institutional duty never to stop our efforts to establish justice for the victims, to make sense of our freedom and to defend the truth. May the memory of all the fallen freedoms” be permanent, she wrote.
