“If the opposition wants something from Albin Kurti let's seek the opposite of what they want”, says Xhavit Haliti

The country's prime minister, Albin Kurti, had declared weeks earlier for the public media that they are willing to help the opposition go to the polls.

The same had said that they could make votes together with opposition parties.

I'm saying we're going to the elections when the opposition wants to. We help the opposition if they want to go to the election” had Kurti declared.

But just a day later, at the government's third anniversary conference, Kurti moved from his stance.

He said he does not resign from the prime minister's position.

If they want the elections to be held not in winter, normally we are reasonable, understandable people and we can set dates with the opposition. But I cannot give up” had Prime Minister Kurti declared the following day.

Regarding the elections and Kurt's withdrawal from the stances, the deputy of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Xhavit Haliti, has spoken for “Gazeta Blic”.

Haliti argued that if the opposition wants something from Albin Kurti, then let them seek the opposite they want.

I was puzzled by opposition parties that started the election race, with accusations and real counteracuza incredible for the electorate. But today I want to give you a message from my experience: If the opposition wants something from Albin, then let them seek the opposite that they want, because position never and no country responds positively to the demands of the opposition. To have the government announce early elections, it must have numbers or people with them and through protests, the government resigned. I think Albin has his own projects, which he didn't publish, because he saved the dice for the election process” he said.

Haliti also received criticism over the opposition of current political parties.

He said the political battle has been weak.

“During the opposition of the current political parties, the political battle has been weak and ready to face the position on the road and parliament with arguments that would disturb the position has been weaker, compared to the unconventioned possibilities and arguments through the justice system, which, if argued, the government's weakening would certainly be great. I think Albin is in the process of negotiating even with elections in the North, so he has to keep power here even before the International Union is in order”
