Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo has won an arbitration case against his former club, Juventus.
As reported by Sports Mediaset, an arbitration court ruled on Wednesday that Bianconers now owe their ex-attacker 9.7m euros plus interest.
Ronaldo had launched a legal battle with his former club for over 19.5m euros in unpaid salaries, as a result of two unfinished salaries during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Juventus had made private deals with Ronaldo and other footballers, pushing their salary payments, but the club did not inform FIGC and did not report maneuvers in their financial mirrors.
However, the arbitration court has decided that Ronald and Juventus will share responsibility, so that the whites will pay only half of their unpaid salary of 19.5m euros plus interest.
Ronaldo left Juventu in 2021 after a three - year period in Turin, during which he scored 101 goals in 134 matches.
