In the early years, with the government's decision, it has not been worked even on November 28th, even though this date marking Albania's Independence Day does not enter the official holiday list. Many private companies also work on official holiday days.
In other Western Balkan countries, it is almost the same. In northern Macedonia, there are 11 days off, in Serbia 12, in Albania 15, in Montenegro 17 days, until there are two days in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but besides two joint holidays, administrative units declare vacation days independently.
Meanwhile, in the world, there are mostly rest days in Nepal, or 35 days. After Nepal, Indonesia ranks 28 days and India is 26.
In Italy it is 12 days off, in France 11 days, in the United States of America 10 days, in Germany, 9 days until 8 days in England.
In many parts of the world and the Western Balkans, however, not even in Kosovo on holiday days only the faithful of that religion rest. The practice of replacing holiday days when they fall on weekends, as in Kosovo, applies to many other countries in the world. In Nepal, the Labour Law determines six days of work a week. /REL
