The next meeting in Brussels will be held during the day at the chief negotiator level. The meeting starts at 11:00.
In Brussels, on 25 March, the meeting of Kosovo and Serbia's chief negotiators on the issue of the Serbian dinar -- whose use as a cash payment tool -- has been banned in Kosovo since last month.
Kosovo's chief negotiator, Besnik Bislimi, said that day that he thinks he also needs an additional meeting on the issue of the Serbian dinar, following meetings he held with Serbia's chief negotiator, Petar Petkov, under the European Union's mediation.
My guess is these proposals are still far apart. We tried to get close, but it seems like it needs an additional meeting, maybe Lajcak will offer it to be held next week”, said Bislim.
Today's meeting will be the second in recent weeks between Kosovo's chief negotiator, Besnik Bislimi and Serbia's Petar Petkovic, while the third in general on the issue in Brussels.
