The Security and Defence Affairs Commission has held a meeting with the Senate Commission for Foreign Affairs and Security from the Czech Republic.
After meeting at the media conference, chairman of the Commission for Security and Defence Affairs, Beke Berisha said they have talked about further development of the two states in terms of defence and security. Berisha has added that the Czech Republic has helped Kosovo in many ways.
We have received this delegation with great satisfaction. We have talk about a lot. I have thanked the Chairman for helping us with the Czech Republic, which is very dimensional both in diplomatic terms, in supporting the Republic of Kosovo, as well as in the presence of the Czech Republic soldiers in Kosovo. We have also talked about the further development of both states in terms of defence and security”, Berisha said during the media conference.
Head of the Senate for Foreign Affairs and Security Commission from the Czech Republic, Thomas Czerny, relations between the two states have been too narrow and too wide since the past years. Czernyn has stressed that the friendship between our two presidents has brought peace to the region.
The meeting's “objective was to address current challenges in the country and the region, possibilities of co-operation in the field of defence and security. Our relationships are too close and too wide since the past years. The friendship between our two presidents has brought peace to the region. Our commission deals with foreign affairs with defence and security. With Mr. Chairman, we have seen opportunities to discuss various issues in the field of security and defence. We see that there are many projects that we can also help to give them life for the future, not just in the security field”, Czerny said.
