Albanian MP in Serbia's Parliament, Shaip Kamberi, has met with the liberal Eurodeput of the European Parliament, Violet von Cromon.
Kamberi, among other things, stressed that with von Cromon, he has discussed the problems of discrimination of Albanians in the Presevo Valley.
“As soon as we concluded an important meeting with the liberal Eurodeput of the European Parliament, Violet von Cromon, to discuss the problems of discrimination of Albanians, especially in the Presevo Valley”, Kamberi wrote on his social network on Facebook.
At this meeting, we faced issues affecting Albanians' rights and equality in the Presevo Valley”.
He added that part of the discussion was also about the importance of equal treatment and individual and collective freedoms, based on international and European conventions' norms for human rights.
“Stand clear of our solidarity and commitment to address discrimination and equipment and help ensure full rights for the Albanian community in the Presevo Valley of”.
