All democratic states and organisations invite for dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, in my opinion, this membership will reinforce, will push forward this dialogue because we will have two equal sides in dialogue and equality is an essential value of the Council of Europe. In 1999, a former French minister has said that if it were a nobel price for freedom, then the Yashari family in Prekaz would be given, because it is a family where 56 family members were killed within a single day. The Jashar family has not received the Nobel Prize, but by supporting this report and this application for membership, we will give them a signal that they will have a chair and join the large European family they belong to”, she said.
