Albania's Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Igli Hasani, has visited former Kosovo President Hashim Thaci at the Specialised Chambers in The Hague.

Hasan said Thaci found him in good spirits, optimistic and confident that the right will prevail.

His courage, balance, calmness and vision for the future were impressive. Aware that judicial processes are a marathon of ups and downs, the person who is psychologically prepared” wins the race.

The “conveyed Thaci's best wishes from the highest government and state leaders, Prime Minister Edi Rama and other colleagues, as well as the security that, as before, our SAXOW support is missing in no case and for nothing”, Hasani said

Furthermore, Hasani said Thaci has also informed him of recent developments in the country, but also in the region, as well as efforts for peace, stability and development.

Albanian “Diplomacy, as before, will insist on implementing standards for an open and transparent process in full respect of human rights based on international conventions”, he said.
