Ibrahim demands from the Murati the carrying of his own own municipalities.

The executive director of the Kosovo Communist Association, Saban Ibrahimi, has asked Finance Minister Iron Murati to carry the money they owe to municipalities within their own revenues.

“Based on the Public Finance Management Law (LMFPP), the private revenues of municipalities are transported to fiscal year by preserving the spending structure. This has been done by municipalities during the drafting and adoption of municipal budgets for 2024”, Ibrahim said.

He has also put forth the consequences that the municipalities may have due to this MPPT delay.

According to Ibrahimi, municipalities could not realise many capital projects, delays in payments to economic operators would be caused, and municipalities would be damaged in audit reports.

The municipalities -- Minister Iron Murati -- bore tens of millions of euros in municipalities because these tools are of the municipalities.

At the College of Municipal Budget Directors and Finance Meeting under the Kosovo Commission Association (AKK), concern was raised by municipalities carrying personal revenues, which this amounts to tens of millions of euros, is still not carried out by the Ministry of Finance, Labour and Transfers (MFPT).

Based on the Law on Public Finance Management (LMFPP), the private revenues of municipalities are carried in the fiscal year by preserving spending structure. This has been done by municipalities during the drafting and adoption of municipal budgets for 2024.

Based on the 08/L-260 Law on budgetary divisions for the budget of the Republic of Kosovo in 2024 municipalities will accept the means from self-inflow with automatism, so without the need to make decisions on the Communist Framework. Why isn't this happening? This is not happening and there are delays in carrying these means to municipalities that have seen capital investments and many other projects. It's April, and still no municipality has accepted the budgetary vehicles which legally belong to the municipalities. Why aren't you carrying the tools to the municipalities? Those tools are Communists.

As a result of such delays by the MFTP municipalities will have the following consequences:

• The possibility of not realising many capital projects in municipalities based on citizens' needs.

• cause delays in payments to economic operators and that these delays may send municipalities to the owner.

• For the means to be transported to completed projects (so that they are transported to the same budget code) and that municipalities will need new relocations, which, as a result, will take too long to implement projects because in addition to excessive legal red tape, tender processes are taking a lot of time. This hasn't happened before.
