Democratic League of Kosovo MP Avdullah Hoti has taken the lead in statements by President Vjosa Osmani and Prime Minister Albin Kurti, who condemned Iran's unprecedented attack on Israel last night, writing that it is disrespectful of Kosovo to this country, the fact that there is still no ambassador there.
Hoti wrote in a Facebook post that she is feeling bad about the fact that she has been three years since Kosovo received recognition from Israel, there she is represented with charge, not state ambassador.
The state's <x0). That's right. I have done this myself in direct contact with the carriers of Israeli institutions. But I feel bad about the fact that three years from establishing diplomatic relations, Kosovo has not yet appointed Kosovo's/led Ambassador to Israel. Kosovo is still represented in Israel with “tasked with””, Hoti wrote.
Hoti, who had been to the White House in Washington when Kosovo had received recognition from US-mediated Israel, said that the fact that Kosovo still ambassador there is disrespectful to the Jewish state. Here, he also recalled the criticism he had received of the agreement with Serbia that included Israel's recognition.
This is the disrespect of Kosovo's heads of state towards recognition that came directly from the White House after years of lack of recognition. This is disrespectful to the many agreements Israel has signed with Kosovo after exchanging diplomatic missions in February 2021”, Hoti wrote.
The “these who reviled me in the Parliament for an agreement signed at the White House cast doubt on the currency of this recognition that came directly from the White House, should show respect and gratitude for the Kosovo allies. Without them Kosovo remains isolated, without development, without Euro-Atlantic integration”, the former prime minister added.
