Haradinaj: MCC programme is best example of strategic partnership importance between Kosovo and America

The chairman of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Ramush Haradinaj, has said that the entry into force of the Kompack Programme would help create flexibility and stability in the energy sector, enabling greater integration of renewable resources.

Haradinaj has said the US has shown its leadership in aid to Kosovo.

“The US has shown its leadership in helping Kosovo, both politically and economically. This contribution is irreplaceable and the Millennium Challenge Corporation programme (MCC) is evidence of the continuation of this long-term partnership between the two countries. During my time as prime minister of the country, I had the honour of co-operating with MCC leaders in implementing various projects of interest in the country. The introduction of the Kompact Programme will help create flexibility and stability in the energy sector, enabling greater integration of renewable resources”, Haradinaj has said.

Haradinaj has thanked the United States for a comprehensive contribution.

“Always thanking our US strategic friends for the overall contribution they have made and continue to give to the people and the state of Kosovo”, Haradinaj has indicated.
