Kosovo Prosecutorial Council chief Ardian Hajdaraj has visited the Constitutional Prosecutor in Mitrovica today, accompanied by SKP Director General Sami Istrefi, where he was hosted by the prosecutor's chief prosecutor, Ismet Wolfani.
It becomes known that Wolfan has informed Hajdarane of the work and challenges in investigating and prosecuting criminal acts on the territory that this prosecutor has in place, as well as the difficulties he faces.
Also, the chief prosecutor has stressed that following the resignation of prosecutors and administrative staff from this prosecutor, there have been challenges to dealing with subjects of emergency nature, so Hajdarane has announced that he has made a request to the Prosecutorial Council and State Prosecutor, to increase the number of prosecutors in this prosecutor, with the aim of making the most efficient work in the function of rule of law.
“Chairman Hajdaraj and Chief Prosecutor Wolfani also discussed finding modalities for the best continued work and management, as well as for the concrete needs of this prosecution in order to implement its constitutional and legal mandate. Hajdaraj has offered support to Chief Prosecutor Ujani on the basis of his competencies as chief prosecutor of the Prosecutorial Council, and has vowed to take all measures to create the most favourable working conditions, which would help advance rule of law in this part of the country”, the KKP reportedly.
