Greta Thunberg Activist Arrested

Dutch police arrested Swedish activist Greta Thunberg this Saturday.

Thunberg was marching against fossil fuel subsidies, the BBC writes.

About 100 protesters tried to block the A12 highway to The Hague, which connects the Dutch capital with the German border.

But the police pushed Thundberg away after she refused to voluntarily leave the street, and two officers who grabbed her from her arms put her on a bus, where they put the protesters and others.

Police have commented via social X network that the roadblock is not authorised by The Hague City Council.
