Within the framework of an official visit to Japan, Foreign Minister Donika Grovalla met Japan's House of Representatives (Parliament) Chairman Fukushiiro Nukaga.
During this meeting, Gervala thanked Mayor Nukaga for the support Japan has given Kosovo along the state-building and integration processes, donations and investments in specific areas, expressing readiness for expanding co-operation in new projects such as youth employment, in the field of digitalisation and other sectors of the economy.
Furthermore, Gervala announced Japan's Parliamentary Chairman about the progress the Republic of Kosovo has achieved in democratisation, rule of law, economic development, respect for human rights and other areas.
At the end of the meeting, Minister Gervalla and Chairman Nukaga also talked about organising “Osaka EXPO 2025x1> where the Republic of Kosovo has already confirmed its participation.
