A German military ship has seized a Houthi missile, the European Union's sea mission at the Red Sea has said.
The German frigate “Hessen” stopped the missile attack from the territories controlled by Houth to protect commercial ships, writes SkyNews, broadcast Klankosova.tv.
The operation carried out by Hessen was effective, avoiding any damage from sailors and commercial ships”, the frigate said.
The EU mission, known as Aspides, was launched in February to help protect the main maritime trade route from fears and rocket attacks by Yemeni's Houthy militia.
The group has said it is taking revenge against Israel's war in Gaza, but has regularly attacked several ships without familiar connections with Israel.
