EULEX helps reactivate Kosovo Police substation in Suhodol

The European Union's Mission to End Law in Kosovo (EULEX) has delivered today to two containers that will be used for reactivating police substation in Suhodol.
EULEX's announcement reportedly enabling the reactivating of substation, E ULEX supports the Kosovo Police in its commitments with community-oriented police services.
Subservation of containers is also aimed at boosting the confidence of residents in institutions. Once reactivated, the police substation in Suhodol will enable all communities living in that area to have better access to community-oriented police services in both official languages of Kosovo and directly contact the Kosovo Police for delivery of applications or complaints, as well as to receive police support”.
“Tutje, the continued presence of the Kosovo Police at the Suhodol police substation, is expected to improve the security situation through advancing the police capacity for promotion and protection of all those living in that area, in a manner oriented towards community”, the report said.
Donation by EULEX is in accordance with the Mission's mandate for supporting Kosovo's specific rule of law institutions on their way towards increasing efficiency, sustainability, multiethnic and accountability, without political interference and in compliance with international standards for human rights and better European practices.
