U.S. Embassy releases numbers for reporting gender-based violence

The American Embassy in Pristina has placed numbers on where they can call victims of gender-based violence, commemorating that Kosovo has a law in power condemning this crime.

Kosovo has a comprehensive law on prevention and protection from all forms of domestic violence. Gender-based violence is a punishable crime punishable by law in force. Report at 0800 11 112 or 192”, the embassy has written.

This embassy action comes after the last two cases of childicide that took place within a week. /Express/
