Diplomatic representatives of member states in KiE congratulate Osman on Kosovo's success

On the continuation of meetings related to the Kosovo membership process at the Council of Europe, President Vjosa Osmani has hosted ambassadors and other working ambassadors from the embassies of Sweden, Austria, Holland, Finland, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Belgium at the meeting.
Representatives of these states reportedly praised Osman for Kosovo's success in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, meanwhile, the president thanked them for the strong support of the vote in this Assembly.
“Furthermore, President Osmani underlined the importance of Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe as a decisive step towards increasing the effectiveness of protecting the rights of all our citizens indiscriminately, giving them access to the human rights mechanisms that this organisation offers to”.
“At the meeting, thoughts were exchanged on the further flow of Kosovo's membership process in the KiE, as well as challenges and opportunities. President Osmani stressed that the support of these states for Kosovo is important even in the final phase, in the vote that could be held in May, on the Committee of Ministers”, the report said.
Over the next few days, the president will meet representatives of other member states on the Council of Europe.
