The prime minister's office today has disclosed other details from Prime Minister Albin Kurti's recent conversation with France's president, Emmanuel Macro.
In this call, ZKM says that Prime Minister Kurti with President Macron also raised the issue of the failure to condemn the authors of the pre-milial and terrorist attack last September 24th of last year, led by Milan Radoicq “, which continues to be free in Serbia despite clear evidence and acceptance of the conviction for organisation and involvement in the attack, where a Kosovo police officer<1> was killed.
He also reported President Macro “on pressure, intimidation and continuing blackmail that the Government of Serbia is making Kosovo citizens from the ranks of the Serb community, which was reflected and with a low number of participation in the 21 April voting process in the four municipalities north of the country”.
During this conversation, Prime Minister Kurti thanked the French president and Republic of France for their firm support of Kosovo.
Furthermore, the prime minister voiced his confidence that France would continue to support Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe, without additional preconditions, in line with the Council of Europe's opinion and the historic 16 April vote. He stressed that the Republic of Kosovo deserves membership on the basis of performance and achievement in the development of democracy, human rights, rule of law and its compliance with Western values and policies.
As for the topic of the dialogue process in Brussels and reports between Kosovo and Serbia, Prime Minister Kurti insisted on the full respect and implementation of the February 27th Basic Agreement and its 18th annex.
