Serbia's Foreign Minister, Ivica Dacic, has said that on May 17th voting is expected to take place in the Council of Ministers for Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe, but that prior to that, Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti is required to send the draft-Stututation of Serb-run municipalities to the Constitutional Court.
Dacic said that “This does not mean that it will go immediately by vote” adding that France and Italy have reservations, while Hungary is totally against Kosovo's membership in the KiE.
“They are pushing Albin Kurti to send the Serbian Commission Association Statistics to the Constitutional Court of Kosovo, and as long as the French say the tribunal's response is needed, some say it is enough to send draft-Sttuti”, Dachic said on Tv Prva.
Among other things, he said Kosovo's opposition to membership in KiE “Belgrade has cost maximum political attention“.
