Customs claims cigarettes worth 3 thousand euros in Han, Elez

In line with the operational plan based on local risk analysis, Kosovo customs units under the border checkpoint at Elez's Khan have managed to prevent the attempted smuggling of cigarettes.

The amount of this smuggling amounts to three thousand euros.

At 9: 00 p.m., in Hani Elez, a truck with Kosovo license plates has been banned for inspection, during the initial search of the driver's cabin, the customs official has discovered 30 cigarette boxers until further checks have been conducted at the customs terminal, where 70 cigarettes were found in the truck booth, the value of that amount is about 3,000 thousand euros. The goods have been confiscated and the anti-vadiative procedure” has begun, customs writes.
