“Crime against humanity”, Special Prosecution raises charges against a Kosovar

The Special Prosecutor has filed charges against Kosovo citizens with M.D. initials, due to suspicion that he committed criminal work “Crime against humanity”, from Article 143 of the Republic of Kosovo Criminal Code and criminal work “Serious violations of laws and customs that apply in armed conflicts that are not of character [...]

According to the Special Prosecutor, these works were carried out against the girls and women of the community, eyzazid, during the conflict in Syria and Iraq in 2014-2017, and that this criminal case has already passed the Special Department of the Constitutional Court in Pristina for further procedure.

And so, The PRSK reports that the defendant is under security measure of detention, according to the Court's Procedure Court's decision until a new verdict.
