The Council of Ministers in the KiE approves recommendation against SLAPP lawsuits, proposed by the Kusari butterfly

“After half a decade of suspension and work, we have managed to have the EU directive and re-command against the SLAPP and re-commanding of the Council of Europe, which instruments provide standards for the protection of journalists and activists from groundless lawsuits to cause them stress, time loss and encouragement from journalism and activism”.

“From now begins the suspension for implementation of standard in practice on the continent of Europe”.
