KEDS has come up with a post-fire announcement that included the Pristina substation 3 of COSTS.
KEDC's announcement reportedly thanks to the dedication of more than 50 KED workers, through alternative lines, electricity supply has returned to 11 thousand consumers.
But 10,000 consumers in Pristina continue to remain without electricity.
KEDC's full announcement:
Dear consumers,
Following the necessary inspections at the KOSTT Pristina Substation 3 by Kosovo's relevant authorities, KDS teams have immediately engaged in cleaning up the facilities involved in fire and assessing the situation.
Thanks to the dedication of more than 50 KED workers, through alternative lines, electricity supply has returned to 11,000 consumers.
However, there are about 10,000 other consumers who continue to lack electricity.
The damage caused by the fire is huge, but even the mobilization of KED teams is huge, whose work is continuing and will continue until late hours.
Consequently, KEDS is fulfilling all its responsibilities and we expect COSTT to activate the transformer to power the Exodus.
