The ambassador of Great Britain to Kosovo, Jonathan Hargrees, has welcomed the support the Parliamentary Assembly gave to Kosovo for membership in the Council of Europe.
He said his country will work with Kosovo to succeed even in the decision of the Committee of Ministers.
“I welcome the APK vote in favour of Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe. The United Kingdom is eager to work with Kosovo in the next steps for a positive decision by the Committee of Ministers”, Hargrees wrote on the X.
Kosovo is also awaiting green lights on the part of the Council of Europe's Committee of Ministers.
Voting on this mechanism will take place on 16 May.
