Great Britain Embassy in an Answer to RTK has been declared to regret the Serbian List's decision to boycott the pro or against the dismissal of mayors in the north.
“Sorry about the Serbian List's decision and a number of independent Kosovo Serb politicians to boycott yesterday's votes for the withdrawal of mayors”, it is said in their response.
According to this embassy, the boycott is an obstacle to democracy.
“Bjkoti is an obstacle to representative democracy. However, votes were held safely and in accordance with the law. The results imply that the four mayors will continue to serve their mandates, and we encourage them to carry out their duties in view of the needs and interests of their communities”, the Great Britain Embassy has said.
Central Election Commission Chairman Kreshnik Radoniqi, at the fourth consecutive conference, said the civic initiative for the removal of the mayors of Leposaviq, Zubin Potok, Zvecan and North Mitrovica has failed.
According to the CEC, 124 voters from 13,674 or 0.91% have voted in the municipality of Zubin Potok, 18 voters from 6,877 or 0.26%; in the municipality of Zvecan no voters from 7,209 so we have 0%; 111 voters from 18,796 or 0.59% have voted in the Northern Mitrovica municipality.
