Attack on a school in Finland, wound to a Kosovo girl

In the tragic attack that took place Tuesday at a school in Finland's town of Vanta has also been injured by a child from Kosovo, the Kosovo Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has not provided details on its state of health, while suggesting that it was announced by the Kosovo Embassy in Sweden on the occasion.

Regarding the tragic event that took place today in the town of Vanta, the Viertola School, respectively, where one person was killed and two others injured, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora through the Kosovo Republic Embassy in Stockholm, has managed to confirm by family members that there is an Albanian girl from Kosovo”.

One child has died and two others have been seriously injured by shooting at a school in Finland, police say.

Finnish authorities said the three victims were 12 and that one suspect, also 12, had been arrested.

Police said the suspect had escaped after the shooting and was eventually detained “in a quiet way” on the other side of a local river in a northern quarter of northern Helsinki.
