Association: What is said in Freedom House report

Freedom House's report on Kosovo records the loss of violence in the north in May 2023, after which Kosovo was imposed punitive measures by the European Union.

“at the same time, international pressure was increased for the establishment of the Sere Municipal Association, just as Kosovo and Serbia agreed in 2013 and 2015 under the dialogue, but (this v.j) was never implemented”

In October, Prime Minister Abin Kurti spoke of increasing flexibility, considering establishing an association. However, debates and opposition had objections about the European Reward for Association”.

The report also speaks of Prime Minister Albin Kurti's condition that the association be implemented as part of the overall package.
