Albania leaves the list of countries on monitoring from KiE after 29 years

Albania is no longer part of the countries under monitoring by the Council of Europe. This is the decision made today by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.

Foreign Minister Igli Hasani has posted on his Facebook page reporting and writes that Albania has emerged from the list of countries on monitoring from the Council of Europe after 29 years.

Minister Hasani's reaction:

Thank you for the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and rapporteurs Ionut Stroe, knowing the transformational reforms of justice in Albania, our fight against corruption, and Albania's progress in human rights and democracy.
