This instruction is derived from the Law on Tobacco Control, and was signed by the Ministry of Health.
According to the MSH, the application of combined remarks or warnings of dangers from tobacco is a measure that, based on scientific evidence, in various countries where it was applied, has contributed to lowering the use of tobacco, especially by young people.
“Given the establishment of health remarks on tobacco products is intended to raise smokers' knowledge of the negative health effects that causes tobacco products to be used, and is also intended to encourage the suspension of smoking, as well as the decouragement of starting or re-initiation of smoking”, said in the MSH communique.
