More than 500,000 travellers rise at Pristina Airport in January-February alone

The number of travelers using Pristina Airport “Adem Jashari” to fly to other countries has marked increases in January and February of this year compared to the same period last year, while the most sought destinations are Switzerland, Germany, Turkey and Austria. Airport officials say only [...]

Officials at this airport say over half a million travelers have been registered in the first two months of this year.

In the month of January 2024 compared with January 2023, we have about 22% in the largest number of travelers. In February we have about 38% more travelers than in 2023.

In January and February, over half a million travelers traveled round and round. The destination, which is being visited mostly, remains the Swiss state, followed by Germany, Turkey, Austria, and so on”.

Several destinations have already been added for this year, with the goal of meeting citizens' demands.

“As far as additional destinations are concerned, we will have the destination of Burgas, Heraclion, then Copenhagen, we have Rega, as well as the destination for the city of Izmir. We also have the addition of an airline”.

In January the increase in the number of travelers is 22%, while the increase has marked February 38% more than the same period last year.
