17 persons arrested in Serbia, forged Serb property documents for Albanians from Kosovo

Under the order of Public Prosecutor for Organised Crime (PKO), in collaboration with the Service for Combating Organised Crime ( Sa The LKKO has come up with their arrest due to suspicion that they committed criminal acts of counterfeiting documents in the period from April 2023 to today, and for abuse of office.

The first organized criminal group reportedly consisted of six people, respectively: M. N, N.G., V.S., L.R.S., S.B. and N. P, while the second organised criminal group consisted of 11 people and, respectively: R.B., A.B., B.D., D.G., I.D., Mr.V. , M. B, MP, S. K, B. G and S. K

As Serbian portal “writesN1”, by the Prosecutor's Prosecutor for Organised Crime, has said that “contains suspicion based that these organised criminal groups have produced and created forged forged documents, respectively: identity cards, authorisation contracts related to the purchase and sale of cadastral plots in Kosovo owned by Serb displaced persons from Kosovo, and thus allow Albanian nationals from Kosovo who are interested in obtaining the status of the citizens of Serbia, to register residence, obtain citizenship and personal documents<2>

Also, according to the Serbian portal, interestrs have been given false testimony, high and middle education diplomas, and thus have enabled these forged documents to be used as true.

“This way has created about 400 different documents and have benefited illegal property in the amount of 100,000 euros so far”, the prosecution was quoted as saying.

Among the members of these two organised criminal groups are two officers, a member of the MPB, a former employee of the University “Megatrend” and an adviser employed in Serbia's Ministry of Education.
