Zvecan deputy chairman burns two locals says the fire was intentional

In the early hours Friday, Zvecan municipality deputy chairman Natasa Tomanic was burned two locals in the centre of the Zvecan municipality.

In Kosovo Police's 24-hour report, it becomes known that Tomanic has said he doubts the fire was deliberately targeted by suspected persons.

“The complainer doubts the fire was deliberately targeted by suspected persons. According to the complainer, the value of damage is high. The case is being investigated”, the police report said.

Otherwise weeks ago the so-called parallel municipality official in Leposaviq was burned down by cars, Serbian media headquartered in Kosovo reported.

The car was set on fire while it was parked not far from high school in the Leposavich municipality.

In the car, reports Kosovo Online, major material damage has been caused, while two more vehicles have been damaged by fire.

Residents living nearby have told Kosovo Online that Kosovo Police and Firemen have arrived at the scene soon.

The deputy director of the Kosovo Police for the Northern Region, Veton Elshani, had suggested that the motives of arson are not yet clear. /Albanian Post
