Russia attacked Odessa with rockets and fears Friday, killing 20 people and wounding more than 70 others, the Ukraine State Emergency Service said.
Two Russian Iskander-M missiles, fired by Russia's ousted Crime, hit a residential area in Odessa, said the region's Governor, Oleh Kipper.
Some of the dead were doctors and saviors, who were killed by a second missile after going to the scene to treat the injured from the first missile, Kipper said.
Zelensky condemned this attack as “tinary” and called the “Fund” Russian forces that carried out the attack.
Russia has been frequenting attacks in the southern Ukrainian city in recent weeks, unleashing fears and rockets on it almost every day this month.
Friday's attack was among the deadliest in recent weeks.
“Russia is continuing to terrorise Odessa”, Ukraine's attorney general, Andriy Costin, said.
Ukrainian authorities have launched an investigation and declared Saturday a day of mourning.
Zelensky met with army commanders, including Defence Minister Rustem Umedrov, and said later in Telegram that his officials have identified the enemy's “most vulnerable” countries.
He said that the more expensive the price Russia must pay for its aggression, “as will be the right end of this fight”. /Radio Free Europe
