Xhavit Haliti alerts: There is information that after elections in the north, Serbia is getting ready to declare association unilaterally

Democratic Party of Kosovo deputy (PDK), Xhavit Haliti, has said there is information that Serbia will unilaterally declare the Association of Serb majority municipalities.

According to him, this is the Government of Serbia project together with the Serbian List, and this will be done after elections in four municipalities in the north.

Haliti says there is information that the Government of Serbia is doing a project that will be implemented immediately after elections in the north, four Serbian leaders will be elected, and they will hold a meeting in their election and declare the established association and elect the chairman of Association.

“They will declare it as the Association or the parallel institution operating within Kosovo's territory, since the Kosovo government or Kosovo institutions are not accepting anything like this”, Haliti was quoted as saying in the KTV interactive.

He even says the Serbian List is preparing the list of Serbs to be introduced to the Kosovo Police at the moment the mayors of the four municipalities are elected and will begin implementing the agreement on functioning of multiethnic police in the north. “So select policemen from the Serbian List and Serbia with an extraordinary filtering part of Serbian youth will receive and send to military schools in Belgrade”
