The first Albanian prime minister in Northern Macedonia, Talat Xhaferi, said that the trip of Northern Macedonia and Albania towards the European Union has nothing to do with the issue of reports between Kosovo and Serbia.
He said the obstacle to this journey could be the unfinished jobs of these two countries.
“The question of our journey Macedonia and Albania for the European Union is not a matter of stumbling the Kosovo-Serbia reports, are a matter of our jobs, homework that we have to do, so we don't see this job so and it's not the issue of the Kosovo Republic reports at all. The obstacle to our journey is our own self, it's our unfinished jobs”, Xhaferi said.
He said that Northern Macedonia has the obligation to make constitutional changes and increase the share of people living in this state, while Albania, according to him, has other obligations.
“We are obliged to make constitutional changes and increase the share of the peoples living in Macedonia, including Bulgarian, to be part of the preamble in the Constitution. The Republic of Albania has other obligations against what has been verifiably and has assessed the relevant European Union institutions, so they are not related to this” situation, Xhaferi said. / ATV
