Voting in 4 Northern municipalities opens census for voters outside Kosovo

The census period includes dates from 29 March to 3 April.

The period for voter registration outside Kosovo (March 29th), April 3rd, 2024) for April 21st vote in four municipalities of Leposaviq, Zubin Potok, Zvecan and North Mitrovica

Pristina, March 29, 2024 The Central Election Commission properly announces citizens that periods for application have begun to be registered outside Kosovo for voting process for or against the departure of mayors from their post in the Leposaviq municipalities, Zubin Potok, Zvecan and North Mitrovica, to be held on 21 April 2024.

During this period, which will end on April 3, 2024, Kosovo citizens living abroad can apply to register as voters outside Kosovo sending their request through:

The electronic platform which is set to the CEC Web site www.kqz-x.org: Subscribe for voting outside Kosovo for the voting process on 21 April 2024 (https://eomp.kqz-x.org/sq/abrodvoter), following all steps one after another, or Post.

All details for the census application period outside Kosovo have been published on the Web site www.kqz-x.org (CEC services > Services for voters > voting via mail) or on the website: https://kqz-x.org/Serbians-per-votting/votimi-me-post/

In the event of refusing to register as voters outside Kosovo, The CEC has established the Commission for Administrative Opposition, where opposition against the CEC's announcement could be demonstrated. Administrative opposition can be sent via e-mail, in: [email protected]

The Central Election Commission encourages all Kosovo citizens who live outside Kosovo with the right to exploit their right to enroll as voters outside Kosovo and then, after the census, vote through mail during the period, which begins on April 12th and ends on April 20th 2024.
