This region's Governor Vasily Golubev has said in Telegram that there was no damage to people, and that authorities are investigating the cause that led to the fire explosion at Novocherkaask, the thermal power plant in Rostov, transmits Telegraph.
The Russian Defence Ministry has announced that its forces have destroyed 11 fears that have been raised to air over Rostov by members of the Ukrainian Army -- the region that lies very close to the Russia-Ukrainian border.
The terminal at Telegram, which is with Russian law enforcement, reported that the fire that broke out in the thermal power plant has been caused by Ukrainian kamikaz drones.
On the other hand, Reuters has not independently managed to verify these claims. The Novocherkassk is considered one of the largest thermal power plants in southwestern Russia.
Its owner, OGK-2, is controlled by Russian Gazprom, while amateur images show the moment when an extremely powerful explosion occurs in this thermal power plant.
