The Kosovo government has earmarked twom euros for covering the costs of treatment of war disabled.
At an electronic meeting held today, the government cabinet has approved the Finance Ministry's decision to allocate two million euros for medical treatment of the disabled abroad.
Health Minister Arben Vitita has said that the adopted decision envisions the possibility that the disabled will also be treated in hospitals abroad for change, maintenance or deployment of prosthetics.
“Tri important decisions have been adopted today at a government meeting”, Vitita said initially. “This meeting has approved the Health Ministry's request for coverage of the treatment of persons with the status of the disabled of war, in order to change, maintain or establish prosthetics outside public health institutions when the latter does not offer these services”.
He said a total of 2m euros has been earmarked for the next three years.
