The Colorado Supreme Court removed the former president from its vote in December, citing the ban on the 14th Amendment on rebels to run for the post.
But Supreme Court judges were sceptical of the move and accused the state of overstepping its authority.
And today they decided Donald Trump's name will remain on paper.
That means Trump can run in the preliminary elections tomorrow, one day in which he can seal the republican nomination.
Colorado will vote along with 15 other states in a marathon contest called Super and Marta. The 77-year-old is expected to beat his only remaining opponent, his former ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley.
