After the media's intense interest in the case, the prosecution has come up with a statement confirming that the ambassador has been interviewed under suspicion of three criminal acts: Money laundering, Shmagia from taxing and false reporting of wealth, income, gift, other material benefits, or financial obligations.
From this institution, Berisha has declared that he was invited earlier for an interview, but the same had demanded that the cause of commitment as ambassador be postponed.
After media interest, the Special Prosecutor announces the public opinion that Kosovo's Ambassador to Croatia, Martin Berishaaj, has been interviewed today at the invitation of the Special Prosecutor, with suspicion of criminal acts, money laundering, yammangia from the tax and no false reporting or reporting of wealth, income, gift, other material benefits or financial obligations. After the interview ended, Berisha's lawyer, Tome Gashi, has also reacted.
He said Berisha has issued a clear statement to the Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo about claims that have appeared in the media.
“Martini has already issued a statement in P SRK. His statement is confidential. Because of this situation as Martin's lawyer I can't tell you anything about the content of this statement”, Gashi wrote in his Facebook account.
